  1. The best way to replace the directory from the system path…. in path variable the value is something like ""D:Oracle_Newproduct10.1.0Client_2jre1.4.2bin". Replace the value to "C:Program FilesJavajre1.8.0_151bin" (Yours system path)

  2. You can directly add PATH to the bin server of that Java program file, as follows. Go to properties of Computer, click to Advanced system settings, then Environment Variables, there you will see System variables, find PATH and add location of your Java jre bin folder
    Like this: C:Program FilesJavajre1.8.0_111bin;C:………
It helped me, wish you good luck )

  3. For anybody having the issue of not finding jre6, all you need to do is update your Java to the latest version. I had the same issue and realized that my Java is out-dated and just needed to update it

  4. Go to cmd > Type "java -version "; if it says something like "Client(VM)" its 32 bit or 64 bit otherwise.
Go to Task Manager after running eclipse(don't close that error message) > Go to processes tab and check for eclipse if its 32 or 64; every 32 bit process is marked with " *32 "
Now the thing is 32 bit jre goes with 32 eclipse and 64 with 64. If there is any incompatibility go and download the appropriate version from the respective software's website.Hope this will help you.

  5. This worked for me and this is over 2 years later. I just went into my jre 7 folder copied the server folders jvm.dll like he did and pasted it into my bin folder overwriting the old one. now my eclipse works perfectly just how I had it before. Thanks!!

  6. Worked perfectly, even with just a JRE7. To make it simple, just copy the jvm from the server folder to the client folder. Before you paste it, rename the current one in the client folder, e.g. jvm1, paste the one from the server folder, and boom.
