In this video i am going to show you how-to installl freeBSD 10 as a server set a static ip , install apache web server , Mysql, PHP and webmin admin panel.

  1. Muy buen video. Un pequeño aporte. En "Distribution Select" tienes elegidas las opciones (x) games – (x) lib32 – (x) ports, en su lugar y solo es una opinión, hubiese elegido únicamente (x) lib32 – (x) src. El motivo es tener compatibilidad 32 bits para poder instalar virtualbox-ose-additions (no es necesario) y el source code para poder armar un Kernel personalizado, en un entorno virtual con recursos limitados, se logra un mejor desempeño. Saludos.

  2. Very good video! Very helpful for me. Also note, if you have an internet connection on your machine you can use pkg install to install all of these things instead of using the ports directory / make. I found it a little easier and it's necessary if you're working from a USB install of FreeBSD.

  3. does this installation includes dns, dchp, vpn, file server/nas, web cache, ftp, voip, gateway, firewall, media server, and snort server? if not how can i install the following after i've done the installation in this video?

  4. Hi +Marcelo Salvador I'm trying to follow it but, in the section that I need to select "build apache module", you're running php55-5.5.9 and I am running php55-5.5.11 in which I don't have the option to select the module for apache. What can I do in this case?
