A 17 foot Burmese python has been caught in Florida in the Everglades. Scientists said it contained 87 eggs, also thought to be a record.

  1. In Florida and other parts of the states where there is canals and swamps, people have pet snakes that they can't handle anymore and they let them go in the wild. The snakes over-populate rapidly and kill the alligators and many other animals there and that disrupts the natural environment. They allow people to kill the snakes and I believe they pay the a few for each one they kill. It's sad, it really is. I am not a fan of snakes and it's not the the snakes fault, it's dumb people.
